Deodorizing Effect of FINE TUNING® Technology: Odor Reduction Without Additives

FINE TUNING Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") has independently developed the "FINE TUNING® Technology," an advanced method that optimizes the properties of objects at the quantum level. This technology is characterized by its ability to enhance functionality by drawing out the inherent potential of substances, without the use of additives or coatings. In this report, we will present the results of tests that demonstrated the deodorizing performance of this additive-free, non-coating approach.

Test Approach and Methodology

  • Testing Institution: Nissenken Quality Evaluation Center, Bio-Chemical Group, General Foundation Corporation

  • Test Method: Standard deodorization processing material certification criteria were followed, with gas chromatography (GC) analysis and supplementary measurements using a detection tube method.

  • Test Environment: Room temperature 25°C, 50% humidity

  • Sample: 100% cotton T-shirt (150g/m², jersey knit). Washed at 40°C with standard detergent, low-speed spin-drying, and air-dried. A comparison was made between the "FINE TUNING®" applied product (FT applied) and the untreated (FT not applied) product.

  • Target Gases: Ammonia (①), Acetic acid (②), Iso-valeric acid (③)

  • Sample Size: Evaluation based on the average of 5 untreated products.

Test Results

  • Ammonia (①)
    FT applied: 61% reduction
    FT not applied: 41% reduction
Discussion: The product with FINE TUNING® technology showed a deodorizing rate approximately 20 percentage points higher than the untreated product, demonstrating a significant improvement effect for ammonia.

  • Other Gases (Acetic acid, Iso-valeric acid):
Under the test conditions, no significant difference between the FT applied and FT not applied products was observed. Further technological improvements and verification are considered necessary.
